Biography
Joshua Solite is a Maryland attorney whose practice focuses on family law and civil litigation. A native of Louisiana, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Louisiana State University before attending Howard University School of Law, where he competed on the Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team, served as a student attorney in the Investor Justice and Education Clinic, and was a three-time CALI Award recipient.
Before joining JC Law, Joshua practiced as an associate attorney in Maryland, where he managed an active caseload of divorce, custody, child support, guardianship, protective order, and contract matters. He appeared in Maryland Circuit and District Courts for merits hearings, settlement conferences, and evidentiary proceedings; drafted and argued substantive motions; conducted discovery and depositions; and negotiated marital settlement agreements, consent orders, and parenting plans on behalf of his clients. His earlier legal experience includes service with the Office of the Federal Public Defender, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and a judicial internship in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Joshua believes that family law work is as much about steadiness as it is about strategy. Clients come to the firm during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and he approaches each matter with thorough preparation, candid communication, and a commitment to protecting what matters most to the people he represents.
Outside of the firm, Joshua serves on the Board of Directors and the Governance Committee of Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas, a faith-based nonprofit providing housing, behavioral health, workforce development, and supportive services across the Mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas. He is an active member of the J. Franklin Bourne Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association. Joshua joined JC Law as a Junior Associate Attorney in September 2026.
