Biography

Sabrina Matlock is an Associate Attorney at JC Law who focuses on bringing a client-centered, compassionate, and detail-driven approach to her cases.

Sabrina graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law (W&L), where she served as President of the Black Law Student Association, worked as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, and supported scholarly research as a Research Assistant to Professor of Law Susan Carle. Prior to joining JC Law, Sabrina gained experience working with the United States Department of Justice, in the Special Litigation and Civil Rights Divisions, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, and the Northern Virginia Capital Defender’s Office.

Sabrina believes effective advocacy begins with listening. She uses her experience to help clients understand their options, navigate complex legal systems, and feel empowered throughout their case. With a background rooted in service and equity, she is dedicated to ensuring that every client receives a caring, competent, and vigorous defense.
