Biography

Alexis Sisolak joined the JC Law Team in the Summer of 2024, but has been a barred Maryland attorney since December 2019. Prior to her move to JC Law, Alexis worked at a small family law firm, the Board of Veteran’s Appeals, and Maryland Legal Aid, where she developed a client-centered approach to lawyering. Her strong sense of justice and fairness have been motivating principles for making representation more affordable and attainable for clients.

Alexis has focused primarily on the area of Family Law since attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a double semester Maryland Rule 19-220 Student Attorney in the school’s Bronfein Family Law Clinic in 2018 and 2019. She clerked under Magistrate Ronika J. Sumlin in the Baltimore City Circuit Court prior to her practice. Alexis has handled family law cases at all levels, including active litigation, mediation/settlement, and trial.
