BIOGRAPHY
Andy Patzig currently serves as the Managing Director for the Fairfax, Virginia office of James Crawford Law.
As the son of an Air Force Lt. Col., Andy has lived and traveled through out the United States and also overseas. In addition to a Father in the Air Force, Andy also had a grandfather who served as a JAG in the Air Force. It was through this example of service that Andy chose to practice law.
Andy opened his own firm in Hampton Roads in 2014 and quickly chose to focus on family law. As an active Guardian ad litem, he quickly realized the importance of trying to resolve family matters as compassionately as possible, especially when children are involved. While in Hampton Roads, Andy served on several bar committees and boards.
After closing his firm in 2022, Andy worked for one of the largest family law firms in the United States. He was the Managing Attorney for Virginia where he ran the Virginia Family Law practice and in addition to helping other attorneys, Andy represented clients throughout the Commonwealth.
Andy’s passion for helping others has led him to also represent veterans for appeals of their VA claims. He later became a Realtor so he could help people at all stages of their families journey. Andy truly believes in helping others and living by the axiom, just because you can, doesn’t mean you should meaning sometimes we need to think long term about our decisions to determine the next right thing.
