Biography
Sara is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she competed on the Tax Law Moot Court team nationally, was a member of the Board of Advocates, and was a student attorney for the Family Law Clinic. During her time in law school, Sara attended school at night and worked during the day, which allowed her to gain experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal law.
Sara worked for Baltimore County law firms, where she learned the basics of being a law clerk and civil law. She then worked for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City for several years, where she learned concepts of criminal law, the means by which the criminal system functions, and how attorneys within that system proceed on their cases.
Sara is barred to practice law in the state of Maryland. Sara is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, and within that, the Criminal Law Association, Government Law Association, and Litigation Association. Sara is also a member of the American Bar Association.
In her spare time, Sara loves to bake—her specialities are baked oatmeal (chocolate, blueberry, and cinnamon sugar), double chocolate cookies, and cheesecake. She is also a distance runner, training for her first marathon.
