Jason Stinnett, Esq.

Biography

Jason Stinnett is a seasoned litigation attorney with more than 23 years of experience in the legal field at every level.

A native son of Texas, he attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, earning his bachelor’s degree in English and minors in Biology and Creative Writing. After undergrad, he moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, where he spent three years working as support staff for small, mid-sized, and international white-shoe law firms.

He next attended law school in Boston, Massachusetts, attaining his Juris Doctorate and interning at the Massachusetts Senate Judiciary Committee and becoming heavily involved in the National Lawyers Guild while there.

After law school, he returned to Texas, where he passed the State Bar and began practicing Family and Criminal Law in Austin, where he volunteered at SafePlace as a Legal Advocate, successfully worked to elect the Mayor of Austin, and was Of Counsel to the Hon. Charlie Baird (ret.). He and his family next moved to Southern Louisiana, where he practiced at the federal level, handling Chapter 7 Bankruptcies for an LSC-affiliate in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans Courts. Presently, he, his wife, and two children call Northern Virginia home.
