Biography
Brooke is an Associate Attorney at JC Law. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University, where she received a B.A. in Philosophy, with minors in Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Spanish. Brooke went on to receive her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where she was a member of the Mock Trial Board and the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
While attending law school, Brooke interned with the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, completed a judicial internship for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and participated in the Prisoner and Reentry Clinic through GW Law. She also published an article in 2020, titled 1-Click to Counterfeit: How the Federal Circuit Could Analyze E-Commerce Providers for Cases of Direct Patent Infringement. After law school, Brooke worked as a public defender in Virginia for several years, where she gained extensive experience in representing clients through all aspects of the criminal justice system.
Brooke has a passion for criminal law and believes that all clients deserve zealous representation and advocacy. She understands that engaging with the criminal justice system can be one of the most stressful times in a person’s life. Her goal is not only to provide strong legal representation but to make sure her clients fully understand the process and feel heard throughout the pendency of the case. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with her dog, Koda.
