After several years of experience as a student in the criminal defense field, Abbey has transitioned her legal focus to domestic law. Fueled by a desire to see justice done for individuals in their time of greatest need and a passion for thoughtful, mission-oriented preparation, Abbey joined our firm in August 2019.
Abbey obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia, but returned home to her native Baltimore to pursue her legal career at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Following her graduation from law school in 2018, Abbey served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marcus Z. Shar in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During her clerkship, Abbey honed the researching and writing skills necessary to tirelessly advocate for our clients, as well as manage numerous tasks and cases at a time.
