BIOGRAPHY
Benjamin L. Davis, III joined the JC Law Team in July 2022. Benjamin’s career trajectory armed him with a high-level skill set for litigation. Benjamin began his career as a prosecutor at the State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City, which enabled him to strongly develop his litigation skills. During his five (5) year tenure as an Assistant State’s Attorney, he was the lead attorney for more than two hundred (200) jury trials. His litigation skills were further mastered when he transitioned to private practice, where he served as the Director of Employment at a prominent law firm for almost a decade. Benjamin filed multi-state class action lawsuits against big corporations that failed to pay their employees overtime. As the head of the department, Benjamin was entrusted to make all important decisions at each litigation phase. His in-depth experience with complex motions practice, mediation, discovery and trial enabled him to manage a successful practice.
Right before joining the JC Law Team, Benjamin was a Senior Attorney at AARP, where his litigation skills were further enhanced. The focus of his work was filing large-scale class action lawsuits designed to advance and protect the rights of older adults. His aptitude for litigation led him to earn a high-performance rating in his division. Benjamin has utilized his valuable litigation techniques at JC Law. His in-depth knowledge of litigation has led him to make an immediate impact.
Benjamin went to Xavier University of Louisiana for undergrad, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. He received multiple academic achievement awards and graduated magna cum laude. He went to Howard University for law school, where he also graduated with honors. His gift for legal writing led him to receive the award for Best Appellate Brief.
